The Arts University Bournemouth is in Bournemouth on the south coast of England and is a favourite location for tourists and students throughout the year. The population of Bournemouth is 220.000. The town is ideal for the students and there are many things to do for them.

There is much to attract arts students in Bournemouth, including theatres, galleries, exhibitions and museums.It also boasts a temperate climate and seven miles of sandy beach. There are more 250 restaurants offering all types of cuisine and many shops. In addition, student nights are organized at nearly every night club and many unmissable acts appear at the O2 Academy and the Bournemouth International Centre. There are a wide range of leisure centres, for example Stokewood Leisure Centre, which offer a huge variety of sports facilities in Bournemouth, In addition, sports lovers like to meet at AFC Bournemouth for football or at Chapel Gate where Bournemouth Rugby Club trains.

There is a huge library at the university where students are able to access more than 50 000 books, more than 45 000 e-books, a large collection of audio-visual materials, a presentation space, a silent reading room, photocopiers, iMACS, PCs and Wi-Fi. Students are also able to access online resources whilst off campus 24 hours a day. The Museum of Plastics, which is in the library and aims to foster student learning and research, exhibits more than 8000 international, historical and contemporary designs.

The Museum of Plastics includes pieces related to the subjects taught at the university and is a great resource for learning, research and referencing. The Gallery is where talks by artists, events and film nights are organized to support the exhibition programme. The Enterprise Pavilion on the campus supports new careers and new ideas with its first-class facilities. Bournemouth University gym is just a stone’s throw away and students of the Arts University Bournemouth can join at a discounted rate.

The length of these courses is between 1 and 8 weeks.
